The Commonwealth of Virginia Campaign (CVC) is a voluntary, charitable donation program for state employees. It is an easy and convenient way for employees to support a wide range of not-for-profit health and human services organizations. Employees can designate their contributions to go to specific charities or donate to a general fund. Donations can be made through payroll deduction, check or cash.
The simplest way to give is through an online payroll deduction. You decide how much you want to give and a calculator determines how much to deduct each pay period. Or, you can elect to make your entire contribution at once.
Donations may also be made by cash or check. Fill out a pledge form and return it by campus mail to CVC Coordinator (0318) or United States mail to CVC Coordinator, 300 Turner Street NW, Suite 2300, Blacksburg, VA 24061.
All charitable donations made through CVC via payroll deduction, cash, check, credit card, or stock donation are eligible for tax deduction status. Additional information is available in the IRS Guidelines for Charitable Donations document.
